Taking A Break

Yowza! Thanks for all of the views, comments, stars and hearts on yesterday's blip. I had trouble identifying who shared what with me, so thanks to everyone for everything!!!!

I got around to setting up my tripod and camera inside to shoot through the window. Not a chance that I'm going to sit outside and wait for a hummingbird.  During the day, they only come by every 20-25 minutes, if you're lucky.  This is a female Costa's hummingbird. Zippy (who I haven't gotten in forever,  is a male Costa's. The weather today was back to normal (ave temp is 102°/38.8°) so that was good.  Gonna get downright chilly in a few days, hopefully, bringing more rain.

Lunch, laundry, UPS store, Walgreens, more laundry.  I'm one person. Does it seem like I do an exorbitant amount of laundry?  I spoke to an old friend in Maryland yesterday. I always forget that if it's gotten to be 7 pm here, that they want to go to bed!  I'm going to be super busy next week, especially because most of the new carpet which was previously installed (incorrectly) will be replaced on Wednesday.  I might post the July mono Monday themes tomorrow which is a lot earlier than I normally would but I don't want to forget to do that.

I had a dream about Cindy McCain (the late Sen John McCain's wife) last night. Huh? Then I literally woke up on the wrong side of the bed. I tried getting up to use the bathroom and couldn't figure out which way to roll. 
I mentioned a couple of weeks ago that my nephrologist wants me to drink 64 oz of fluid a day. It gets to be around 8 pm and I realize that I haven't come close to that so I try to catch up.  Not the best idea.  Picked up my groceries yesterday evening.  When I unpacked them I realized I did really buy anything to prepare for dinner. So I had a bowl of cherries. Way too many for my tummy.  Too many cherries and too much late night water: no wonder I had such a stupid dream.
