Busy Bees

This morning before Kent got home from work, I wanted to get out and see if I could capture some shots of the bees in amongst the honeysuckle. The bees didn’t disappoint me.

Kent got home early for a Saturday and headed out to finish cutting the grass. As soon as he had the lawnmower cranked, I told him that I was going to cut for a bit.

I didn’t cut a lot today but it was hard going with the ground still soft from all the rain and certainly draining in the 96° heat index sauna out there.

Kent finished up our yard and when he came in and had showered, he said he was drained!

It was quiet time on the sofa for the rest of the day
