Niki de Saint Phalle

This afternoon we took a long subway ride (with two changes) to MoMA PS1 in Queens--the Manhattan museum's second venue, for a lovely  exhibition of this French-American artist  (1930-2002)--her first in a New York museum.  She is doubtless better known in France than this side of the Atlantic--we attended a major show in 2015 at the Grand Palais.  We had never been to MoMA PS1--I suspect Niki would have been been bemused to be relegated to such a suburban venue  It was worth the trip and highly recommended if you are in New York.
