Cluny Churchyard

We buried Stewart today in the churchyard at Cluny near Sauchen in Aberdeenshire, after a beautiful moving service in Cluny Church that celebrated both his family and professional life. His and June's colleagues turned out in their hundreds to say farewell along with his family and friends. Here are a few words from one of the pieces that June chose for the choir to sing:

"I want you to live while I wait for you, asleep,
I want your ears to still hear the wind,
I want you to smell the scent of the sea we both loved,
and to continue walking on the sand we walked on."

So this is how she intends to live....
