Favourite Rose

I went to see my mother today, for some jobs in her garden and coffee on her terrace.

This rose is a favourite of hers. Back in the 1980es and 90es, she fell in love with old English rose varieties and planted several of them in her garden.

Now, she does not remember what they are, or where they came from, but she admires their beauty every day.
