The Word on the Street
Folk on the street pass by Milwaukee's Pabst Theater and the words from Amanda Gorman's inaugeral poem - the one that left me misty eyed as I watched President Biden's inaugeration.
It was a gray and drizzly day in Milwaukee yesterday, so foggy you couldn't see the lake from the bluffs (see the extra). Not a great day for photography but the city tour we took was well worth the time and Black Cat Alley, the street sculptures, and particularly the bits and pieces and words of wisdom we walked by (and over) intrigued me.
It may have been the beer that made Milwaukee famous, but there's art to be found here, even on the street.
