At The Farm
We were a little disappointed when we saw our holiday home. The listing had said rural location, with air conditioning....well yes I suppose so!
We met Maureen and Ian at The Farm in Snitterfield this afternoon. We didn't go in the shop but the cafe was open and there were tables available outside so we settled in for a drink and chat. After a drink we had a little walk, firstly to admire their gardens and say hello to the little piggies who were happily snuffling around in the mud. The long distance footpath, The Monarch's Way runs through the farm and we followed it out for a short while. This footpath runs for 615 miles from Worcester to West Sussex and is believed to be the route Charles II took after the defeat by Cromwell in the final battle of the Civil Wars at Worcester in 1615. I guess it's possible he stayed over in this caravan on his way.
I'm not sure of the rules, or etiquette, of posting more than one photo to a particular challenge but I'll tag this one for Derelict Sunday too.
