GRUESOME REMAINS

I spotted this "antler" from a Stag Beetle on the ground outside Mum's back door this morning, possibly dropped by a passing crow or magpie while eating the less crunchy bits. It's quite tiny - I realise I should have put my finger beside it for scale, but it's on a piece of regular kitchen towel, so you can tell by the size of the dimples what sort of size it is (if you really want to).

Anyway, I don't know whether you can have derelict insects, but I'm tagging this for Derelict Sunday, thanks Marlieske.
