Work Night Out

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

I haven’t seen anyone from work since last March, but today I went for a drink with 2 of my colleagues, Marina and Richie.

We only met for a couple of hours* but it was just lovely. I used to hate work chat on a night out but it felt very cathartic.

We all commented on how wonderfully normal it felt, but funny thing is, the 3 of us have never actually gone for a drink together before (other than Christmas nights out). We naturally took for granted being able to catch up in the office so I don’t think we realised that we had actually become friends!
