Moorchick

With an extra of another bee, this time on comfrey.
Church this morning, then some gardening, some cross-stitch and a walk by the ponds.
There were:
adult mallard + 3 ducklings
adult moorhen + 3 moorchicks
adult coot + 3 cootlets
2 adult swans + 2 cygnets
Also heard a chiffchaff and saw lots of bees and flowers, including some fine northern marsh orchids (seems to be a good year for them).
Just had a phone call from my Mum to say my niece, having had one vaccine dose, has Covid and she'd been to see Mum the day before she tested positive. We're praying she hasn't passed it on to Mum.
