Looking down at the pond

A reasonable day for weather and good otherwise although a mixed afternoon in the sewing room. Not sure how but I caught my forefinger under the needle of the sewing machine when zigzagging, I did this fifty something years ago and remain perplexed as to how it can happen. Once the finger was wrapped in a few plasters a return to the sewing table where I mistakenly cut a V into the main piece of work. Not good. Anyway a new cover was made and hope to do something positive with the damaged article.
