Day out

I took the boys to Twin Lakes today, which they LOVE.  We went on lots of rides, the youngest chose to go on a rather grown up ride (with me in tow) which, as he said 'tickled his tummy' and made him 'air sick'.  He decided not to go on it again. There was a smile on his face for most of the time anyway. 

It was lovely to have a day out with the boys, they had such a lovely time, although were utterly shattered on the way home, the youngest fell asleep and the eldest got overly upset about something rather trivial when he got home.  Mary Poppins with Popcorn seemed to sort everything out. 

Today I'm grateful for: 
Second injection before the day trip (which took some family logistics, and a bike-ride home for the husband as I went off for our day out)
The boys knowing when it was home time and leaving Twin Lakes so nicely without a single protest 
Afternoon and evening spent sorting out things around the house, all far more tidy!
