Hodge Close

We took the visitors on a tour of the Hodge Close, Langdale quarries, Cathedral Cavern and Slater Bridge ( very touristy shots in extras) and lunch at the Three Shires Inn. I've mentioned that nephew T brews his own beer so he's very keen to visit the local pubs and try the beer.  Son M insisted we took a steep route that I had not realised existed, up through a quarry.  The more gentle road route has always sufficed before. And where is R? He cycled to the pub from home , 100km round trip with lots of hills
