Couldn't

..do anything funny for money if I tried today.

Red Nose Day 1989, I left a job in Newcastle to go and work in the Borders of Scotland. We all dressed up that day. I came to work as a nun. I had the auditors in and I was asked if I could remove my wimple! It was a great day. (I had a tarzanagram too - do you remember them?)

Today I spent a lovely few hours catching up with a friend I worked with on that very day. (I think she was dressed as Donald Duck - obviously not today.)
We had cake in a cafe where the birds were feeding outside. Another great day!

The cream cake wasn't the best idea I've had, especially after a night on the tiles, but I managed!
