Hopefully, I will be able to take the kids there for an outdoor puppet show on Tuesday morning. This grand structure was built after the devastating tornado of 2002.
I was experimenting with the 24mm lens. There was a learning curve moment when I realized that my battery was dead. The battery is supposed to charge when the camera is connected to the USB port. I forgot to turn the camera off after uploading yesterday's blip, and *I think* that prevented the battery from charging. I will find out tomorrow. Meantime, I was able to use the charged battery from my other camera.
