NEW ZEALAND FLAX HAS A VISITOR

Angus & I got our very early to walk, but it was hot already.
I noticed this NEW ZEALAND FLAX was blooming with red flowers.
When I went to take the photo, a hummingbird came in for a visit.
The flowers did not show up, but the Hummingbird did.  Kismet.

Later I went with my friend to a wonderful Farmer's Market in a
town nearby.  I bought cherries, peaches, corn the cob & French bread.
I just love Summer produce!  

Such hard work.  A glorious Sunday nap was "the icing on the cake."
