Lawn fungi....

.....with a darkening sky and rain and hail forecasted, I decided to blip these fungi from our lawn, if snow arrives (which is doubtful), they'll be shivelled up in no time.

The single mousey fungi is from our back lawn, the three dark ones which are more black in real life are under our concrete birdbath and the mound of brown which are all individuals snuggled together are on the ground on the outer edges of our black beech tree.

I'm amazed at the variety of our lawn fungi this year. Warm thanks for yesterday's kind words for those tiny parasols from our lawn.
