MonoMonday: Takeoff

The kookaburra turned up for breakfast this morning. I decided to check today's MM theme and it's Takeoff, so with a bit of ham we got him to do just that. 
I've added the second shot a split second afterwards. I'm always intrigued by the different shapes birds' wings take.

We are settling into pandemic life at the farm. I can't help feeling a bit guilty that it's no burden to us. The only downside is not being able to see the grandchildren. 
Hopefully it will only last the two weeks. The virus is popping up in most states around Australia but the NSW figures today (18 cases) weren't as bad as feared. They say they will continue to "bounce around" for a while but hopefully if everyone complies we can get on top of it.
