Grey Heron

The young one was straight over to the better clearing today. I had just started to give her some fish when the swan came over and chased her. She flew over to her branch followed by the swan but it had to give up as it could do nothing. I stepped back a bit and waited. The cygnets and the other swan appeared but soon swam off as there was nothing for them. As soon as the two swans were out of the way, the young one returned for the rest of her fish.
