Arid camouflage.

The common blue butterfly really stands out in the meadow with its blue upperwing. As easy to spot as an elephant in a swimmingpool. But turn off the rain for a while and send a representative of the species into an arid habitat ed voilá, the perfect camouflage -with only the underwing visible....
...the blue on the other hand still stands out!
