I know it’s not a pigeon!

When I first spotted the bird on my shed roof I wasn’t sure what it was …… keeping my fingers crossed the the bird would still be there I hurried to pick up my camera from the hall where I had left it when I came in.

Yes the bird was still there and zooming as much as I could and taking the shot through the kitchen window I could see that it most certainly wasn’t a pigeon (they usually perch on the shed roof waiting and watching for some seeds to be spilt)

I haven’t seen too many birds of prey but I think this might be a Sparrowhawk ……  but it might not. Somebody in blipland will know exactly what it is.
