Along the riverside.

Back to the caravan for a few days, so comments may be difficult. Usual rubbish internet.

It was quite cool and dull when we left home, but hot and sunny when we arrived here.
What a surprise. Although the sun has now gone in it is still very warm.

After unloading the car and having a light lunch we went into Thirsk. Still a nice buzz about the town even for a Monday. Partly due to the market. Not quite as big as the Saturday one, and my cheese lady wasn’t there.
Had a walk round the town. Bought a top from my favourite shop. 20% off as everything was in the Sale.
Then a cream tea sat outside the Golden Fleece.

Back to the caravan and a walk along the river, which is where I spotted the damselflies.
Top one I think is a Willow Emerald Damselfly, and the bottom one a Banded Demoiselle.

Lovely to be back.
