Cold enough for Croquet

We visited Brodsworth Hall this afternoon. An English Heritage property by the side of the A1, near to Doncaster. It is a number of years since we have been there and were very impressed by the improvements to the varied sections to the garden since our last visit. Rain (not forecast) was an unwelcome surprise that cut short our visit. I expect that we will revisit soon.
A short walk from Dunford Bridge this morning helped to comprise my most active day for some considerable time and has left my knee and leg feeling sore and uncomfortable but another step forward. And without the anti-inflammatories my breathing is much improved.
