FREEDOM DAY.

I checked the NHS app just after midnight and it confirmed that my self isolation had ended.  Neil had the same notification so today he's had a walk with his girlfriend, a long - ish run and has gone back to work.

So I was free to go further afield.  I needed to go to the village to collect my repeat prescription and get some fresh food.  As the Mono Monday theme today is ' take off ' I took this shot of my open garden gate before I took off down the back lane to go to the village.  Thanks to Majoayee for hosting.

Even such an ordinary outing to the shops felt great after 5 days of self isolating. As the weather was warm and sunny I extended my shopping trip by having  a wander around the park.

When I got home I sat in the garden for a while with a cold drink and an ice cream lolly.  Tino kept me company snoozing on his large dog bed. 

This evening I watched most of the Croatia v Spain match.  It was an 8 goal thriller and Spain were triumphant in the end after extra time was played.  Now I'm watching France v Switzerland.
