First day ...

... as a Destination Volunteer with the Canal & River Trust at Trevor Basin and the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct and Canal World Heritage Site.
It was good fun, busy, and was so good to chat to people again. All sorts of people from staff, volunteers, visitors and naughty ducks wandering into the visitor centre, they know where the duck food is! Rain was forecast but held off until 5mins before closing time. So that's every Monday sorted now. A week Thursday I'm shadowing an Aqueduct Ranger as I'm going to be a relief volunteer to cover absences and holidays.
I have a uniform! 2 tops, a sweatshirt and a carparking permit.

Can't wait for next Monday to arrive!
