Glencaple
What a stunning end to the day. 40 minutes of sunset glory. If it had been the old days, I'd have run out of film.
The estuary of the river Nith is a fabulous haven for birds. We have fallen a little bit in love with it. We watched the start of the bore at the end of the estuary. It must be quite something to see at the narrow part here. Perhaps we may hang around to see it tomorrow, but we nomads have places to explore and things to see.
Unfortunately we had some bad news that we are no longer welcome to go to the Glen for our last weekend. The house will be full and we would be a step too far even staying in the van. COVID, I hate you.
So where to go and what to do?
Watch this space.
In other news; Andy Murray won his first round match, but not before giving us palpitations yet again.
I spoke to my new solicitor again about the access... the lane's owners solicitor had not received any emails from mine and therefore nought had been done. That's yet another 6 months of my life stressing about solicitors gone. I really dislike them intensely. (Second only to the many poor dentists I have been guinea pig to.)
Good news on the Charlie front. He has been matched with someone who has no use able sight as a replacement Guide dog. In 5 weeks we may have good news. Cross everything yet again.
I am shattered
The gin is helping, but not with the weight.
