Pyramid Orchids

I walked with A down to the ford at Letheringsett village, followed by a rather good cup of coffee in her garden afterwards. I hadn't seen A for a while so it was good to have a chat and catch up.

I only had my little compact camera with me, so this is more of a record shot of what I hope I've identified correctly as pyramid orchids.  We spotted these in Spout Hills, our local park which is maintained by Holt Town Council.  I was pleased to see that they had left large areas of the grassland uncut to allow wild flowers to flourish, which they were doing splendidly.
