Anyone for Croquet?

A trip to Belsay Hall, Castle and Gardens today - the family home of the Middleton family (no relation to Kate) since 1270 although it is now run by English Heritage.  The castle is a bit of a ruin and the hall is described as being in a state of benign decay.  It is used as a setting for art installations but there are no displays this year.
