Beside the West Coast Mainline

This steel plant can be seen close the M6 at junction 39. Today we saw it on our leisurely drive south, and decided to come off the motorway for a closer look. It was really hard to get a good view from the old main route to Scotland, the A6, but I liked the view with a West Coast Mainline railway depot in the foreground.

Seeing it always reminds me of a filmmaking friend, , who told me about how captivated he was with the structure on his journeys north to make this film
