Bamburgh

The return from Sunderland and the sun was out for us. But first we had a walk out to the end of Roker Pier which had been closed all weekend because of the dangerous swell. Almost a tradition now so that was nice.
We drove up the Northumberland coast for a while with a pit-stop at Seahouses Golf Club and a scenic view of Bamburgh Castle which was hugely impressive but absolutely hooching with traffic. Will be well worth a visit once all the holidaymakers start heading back overseas!
Afterwards there were just a few hours of footie surrealism before I hit the sack.
