Could be the Mediterranean ......

..... but it's not!

These two ladies were part of an art group in Pollok Park. The others had found some shadier areas to sit and paint but these two had found their pitch down by the river where they had to provide their own shade. The well known and much used bridge was the subject for their water colours.

It has been incredibly hot again today so after taking Poppy for a walk I spent the afternoon watching Wimbledon. As the sun stopped beating down on the garden I was out with the hose giving the thirsty plants a very big drink.
