Tiny Tuesday ~ Purple

Tony didn't play golf today. We spent the better part of the morning locating breaks in the main line of our NEW irrigation system and fixing them. We then tested to see if the emitters were working and getting enough water to each plant. 

You would think this would have been the last step done by the people we hired to put in the new drip system. Well we are both wrong on that assumption. We discussed having them come out and fix it, but decided they would probably just fix the immediate problem and we would end up calling them multiple times. We are confident now that it is in good working order.

Tomorrow we will retrench, bury lines and clean up around the plants.

I am grateful for Tony's patience and the cloud cover all morning that kept the temperature under 90F.

This little emitter pumps out 7 gallons per hour. It is sitting on a quarter so you can see how small it is. Thanks to Pinkhairedlady for hosting Tiny Tuesday this month.
