Failed to take a photo today (the weather was uninspiring and I didn't go out), so here is my new cactus that we picked up when we went to buy paint at the weekend ;)

Good work day, which I managed to end early in order to watch the England match.  It was a day of good news today - my friend Lizzie phoned this morning and left me a voicemail to say they'd found somewhere to rent (while their house is having an extension built - they've been trying to find somewhere for ages), then my sister sent a WhatsApp message to say that my brother-in-law had been offered the dream job he'd interviewed for recently - oh, and then England went and beat Germany 2-0!
