The cable guys...

...were away for lunch when I took this, but they are now working on my land. Hard to believe that this road would be in some sort of driving condition a few hours later, or that it is a road at all, but I did drive up there with the van in the evening.

Continued tedding the hay. First time for the remaining five hectares and then the second time for the other four. The rake (the wuffler, more specifically) had a puncture after three hectares. I had a new tyre for it, but no inner tube, and the bearings of the wheel are quite bad, too, so no instant repair. Took the old rotary rake instead and got it all done by 5 pm, then checking on the cattle and a little meeting with the cable guys to show them where there are drainage pipes etc. A load of grass for the pasture in the evening, then a round to oats and barley fields with the van, and mounting the sprayer for an early start tomorrow.
