Hopeful Utopia

Having received an autumn seed catalogue in the post I popped into Waterstones when I was in Ocean Terminal to see if I could find anything more cheering. Chanced upon the new David Mitchell on the buy-one-get-one half price table, so picked up the Rutger Bregman. Great reviews, both, but if either of them is going to cheer me up they'll have some heavy lifting to do.

Later I sat in on a discussion between the Scottish and Norwegian Greens - interesting to learn how very different the political situation is there.
