Covid dawn

The early morning light had a funny yellow tinge today.

Must be something to do with the big Covid cloud hanging over the country. There are currently lockdowns in half the states after a series of Quarantine mishaps.

On a brighter note it’s the Silverback’s birthday today! Not sure if this is the one where he gets the telegram from the Queen! (HaHa dog joke - I don’t even know what a telegram is!)

Yesterday the folks went to their favourite French restaurant for a birthday lunch, I had a lovely piece of duck slipped to me under the table!

When we got home and put the news on they announced a snap Covid lockdown in Queensland. Eek! Got home just in time!

A simple cheese platter and glass of wine for dinner (hmm blue cheese!).

Today it will be cake and ice cream for lunch!
