NO Skateboarding

A sign on the wall by the library steps suggests that skateboarders must find them tempting! 
I went to town early this morning to avoid the mad rush of shoppers getting ready for the long weekend coming. No such luck. Everyone else had the same idea, I think, because town was crowded! The lineup to get into one of the grocery stores was the longest I've seen since the number of customers was restricted. Thankfully the line was in the shade for most of the time I had to wait. 
It's a bit cooler today and hopefully it will continue to cool down as predicted. Our neighbour up the street told us that it was 41.9 in the shade of his porch at the hottest time of the day yesterday. Apparently this is what our summers will be like in the future. No climate change, eh??
