Towerbank Send Off

While school finished on Friday, one of the P7 classes had to self-isolate so a second leavers do was arranged for today. The one of Thursday last week had been lovely but was cold and wet. Tonight's one had the good weather. Both nights the kids ended up in the water, although my son only went in tonight. He gave me a scare bobbing about out of his depth, so I ended up plunging in to get him. Probably over the top but he doesn't swim in the sea often, had all his clothes on, it was choppy and he looked to be drifting out. I know he can swim but I didn't know how strongly and went to get him back in. Probably an over-reaction but better safe than sorry.
