I can't stand the rain !

Clever birds these Corvids - will they inherit the world I wonder?

Glossop has a very large population of Jackdaws. At times there are nearer 300 than 200 circling over the town centre. It's just a little like Hitchcock's The Birds at times.

This bird doesn't like getting wet and can often be seen on this covered perch during heavy rain. A second bird tried to share the position but was told to push off with lots of cackling.

I'm not sure what he's doing with the hammer he has left in the gutter above but as I say they are clever birds he may be building an extension to the roof :-)
