Tomorrow my eldest flies to Washington DC for a two week school trip. Taking in all the wonderful places that the city has to offer and participating in a Shakespearean festival. The longest she has been separated from me both in time and distance since birth...

My youngest will be taken to ballet and swimming and we will have a sleep over at friends. Meanwhile she is upstairs in my bed awaiting me joining her (Steve is away!) I will cherish the time with her as I know in so few years it will be her I'm waving off to experience the wider world...
