Ceramic Sculpture 'Gassed'

A drizzly, overcast day today - so lovely for June!!

But that didn't stop us for visiting Hyde Hall for a little wander and when we got there we found out there's a ceramic sculpture exhibition by the artist David Millidge, who over the past 6 years has created some amazing pieces!! We were in awe as we walked around and if only we had deep pockets and a huge house to buy the pieces and display them in!

This piece is at the centre of the exhibition and is called 'Gassed' which was inspired by the famous painting of the same name by John Singer Sargent. It really does take your breath away and we were very happy to chat with the sculptor to let him know!
