Ties

A recent tidy up revealed a stash of ties that I used to wear in my workdays, unseen for a long time.
I retired 10 years ago today so the ties have been given an airing. Today one only needs two ties - for weddings and funerals.
 


My tie selection included beautiful, Italian, silk ties, some flamboyant and others subdued. Designer brands and unknown street trader designs.


(10 years of storeage has left them a bit rumpled)
 
Then "dress down Friday " was introduced into the workplace and I went to work NOT WEARING A TIE


It signalled the decline of society to the state we now occupy. Power in the hands of bloated plutocrats and sly politicians.
 
Look how easy it is to slip into rant-mode. Sorry about that.
