In John Lewis today!

I went to John Lewis today and found it so so quiet and so many things in the Sale. I was wondering why there were paper rainbow decorations until I saw a rainbow poster saying…..
PROUD TO BE OURSELVES ……..celebrating Pride and supporting the LGBTQIA+ community. Let’s be proud together.

Interesting that JL is supporting Pride. I did not realise that June is Pride month and Pride Day is June 28th. First celebrated in 1970 with the first Pride March in New York. 

L= lesbian, G=gay B= Bisexual T= transgender Q= Queer or questioning I = intersex A= Asexuality  
And the “+” symbol apparently stands for all of the other sexualities, sexes and genders that aren’t included in any of the previous letters.
