Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

The Youngest Mini Princess was heading into town this morning to buy makeup - “I need a new foundation.”

YMP likes makeup and is usually very good at applying it but I had noticed the previous day that her face was, well, slightly orange

Me: “Erm, the same one you were using yesterday?”

YMP: “No, that’s was a different one. My usual one is finished.”

Me (trying to be tactful): “I’m not sure that one yesterday is the quite the right shade for your skin tone.”

EMP: “Are you going to buy a pair of dungarees and a stripy top in town? The chocolate factory is missing one of its Oompa Loompas and the family needs to know.”

I couldn’t resist. Adverts have a lot to answer for.

We were ordered out of her room (although she was laughing)!
