poor margaret the mummy blackbird is in total panic mode with her babies learning to fly and feed…and this ginger murderer hanging around. she spends hours screaming at him, and he doesn’t give a shit. I take him inside a lot and sometimes he stays and sleeps, giving margaret a rest - but he likes to sit in the garden and torment her too. I really hope he doesn’t eat her kids.

dump run number one today - over to ellon, and we got rid of heaps of stuff. bee cut up lots of wood too and we delivered a trailer-full to the martin’s. g took me for a wee spin in her new electric car - which is almost completely silent. it’s lovely, just a shame it’s not great for distances.

made a veggie lasagna and watched andy win at wimbledon - soooo good seeing him back.
