Bask

Haar lifted fairly quickly today and although I was in the office all day I did manage a wander around the gardens after work whilst I chatted to A and lay on the grass for a while just soaking it up. Lovely.
Earlier we’d interviewed for V’s replacement and huge relief to find someone who seems perhaps a bit quieter (although maybe that was just interview nerves) but in other ways very similar to her in approach and experience.
N was in office for the first time and really nice to chat to her properly (she’s been online since we interviewed her and so never actually met before!) and ideas for how her job is developing. She's so enthusiastic and full of ideas and plans and future facing. Quite a tonic. She brought in all the certificates and trophies from the recent awards ceremony so we could present V with hers (extra).
Home and did some laundry and cleaning up, then once again ended up asleep on the sofa. Hope this weather lasts all weekend,
