Sundew

I don't often come across Sundews on the mountain, but it is always a delight. They can be quite profuse locally and give a lovely red glow. It is carnivorous. The sticky mucous both lures the insect and holds it fast.
The other common carnivore is the Butterwort - Extra Blip - found higher up the mountain. Its lime star shaped leaves, often the only sign of its presence, also have the deadly mucous. A sweet little predator.
