I find I need a lot of patience to catch-up with Small Heath butterflies, they tend not to stay still for very long. This one was enjoying the bramble. There were lots out today, along with Meadow Brown, Ringlet, Large Skipper and a couple of Small Tortoiseshell.

I just walked out along Moorside and then back through the pastures. Light relief from getting a presentation ready for Thursday.
