Second, 2nd Saturday Strollers ;-)

Yes, it's July and the second (post lockdown!), 2nd Saturday Strollers gathering is coming up a week on Saturday, the 10th July ...

... we're off to the Pentlands and are going to do 'Walk No 3: Harbour Hill via Kinleith' from the pictured guidebook - I'm certainly hoping we won't have the same conditions as the last time 'R', 'M' & I did this route :-))

We'll be meeting at the lower (Pentlands) car park in Bonaly, some outline detail below:

- meet at 10am, Saturday 10th July at the lower (Pentlands) car park in Bonaly

- if required; buses do run nearby along Woodhall Road

- the rough walking route will be: along Torduff and Clubbiedeans reservoirs - over to Kinleith - up to Maiden's Cleugh - over Harbour Hill - down past Bonaly Reservoir - back to the lower car park at Bonaly

- that should be about 7 to 8-miles
- it will take us around 4 hours to complete (including lunch stop)

- we may well be able to access refreshments at the Clubbiedeans Coffee stop :-)
- but please do bring along some snacks/packed-lunch etc.

Edinburgh is still in 'Scottish Level 2' restrictions, so '8 people from 8 households' are allowed to gather outdoors - thus, as per last month, if more than 8 folk turn up (which is possible) then we will split into 2 distinct groups. And if there are 2 groups, then they will stay completely separate, and we'll just leave the starting-point at least a clear 10-15minutes apart.
