Tiny Tuesday ....

... Summer color Purple.

Today was uncomfortably HOT!  That didn't make for very pleasant outdoor photography!  But I braved the heat in order to find some pretty purple flowers.  The temperatures reached well into the 90's today.  Nothing like the extreme temps in the Pacific Northwest but still very hot. 

This bumble bee was oblivious to the heat and was very happy to feed on the catmint flowers.  I certainly wasn't oblivious to the heat however! I got several good pictures of this bumble bee and couldn't decide which picture to blip so I've added another shot to the Extra Photos.
